This was something of a brain break that turned into a full fledged piece. I've been wanting to draw a Prothean beacon related piece anyway so I guess it worked out nicely. Bit of a different style for me, not as refined and a bit abstract, but I kinda like that about it.

I did always mean for whatever Prothean beacon piece I did to be from behind Shepard, but I think the composition is somewhat inspired by the fabulous

(namely her Agebinium [link] and Manae [link] pieces).

I love how the beacon feels mysterious and even harmless but at the same time all powerful and intimidating
